PSNH Presents A. Molotkov and “How to be Laconic in Poetry”

MAY 4, TUESDAY AT 7:00: “How To Be Laconic in Poetry: The group will review and discuss six to eight modern/contemporary poems that use words with care, and explore how the poets select resonant, meaningful details while omitting unnecessary information in order to increase the poem’s universality and to avoid scattering the reader’s attention. The poems for discussion may be requested in advance. The workshop leader, A. Molotkov is an immigrant writer active in prose and poetry since his teenage years; he is the author of three poetry collections, his fourth forthcoming from The Word Works in 2022, alongside his memoir, “A Broken Russia Inside Me”, due out from Propertius.
